Herons Education Consultancy is a consultancy firm founded in Canada that accompanies students on their journey to studying abroad. With over 10 years of experience in international education and student placement, we were established to be a reliable guide for students on their overseas education journey. Studying abroad is not just about choosing a school; it's a new beginning. A new country, a new system, new responsibilities… We understand both the excitement and the seriousness of this process. Therefore, we carefully listen to each student's goals, expectations, and dreams, and plan the process individually.
We place students in educational institutions in various countries, primarily Canada, the USA, and Spain. We offer professional support at every stage, including school selection, managing the application process, preparing necessary documents, and communicating with institutions. We don't just initiate the process; we follow it from beginning to end.
Our support for students coming to Canada is not limited to the acceptance letter. We provide guidance throughout the accommodation process, support during the settling-in phase, and ensure our students confidently embark on their new lives. NILAY GULER
Nilay's journey began in swimming pools in Türkiye and took shape through competing for Enka, Fenerbahçe, and the national team. However, her story wasn't limited to sports. At 17, she took her first step on an international education journey with a full scholarship to Delta State University in the United States.
Nilay, who graduated first in her class, diversified her academic achievements by pursuing degrees in marketing, computer programming, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). During her university years, she developed leadership skills by serving as team captain, and her accomplishments were recognized by prestigious national honour societies such as Omicron Delta Kappa and Delta Mu Delta. She continues her education today at Queen's University Law School in Canada.
In her professional career, she worked for over 10 years at four prestigious universities in four different countries: Koç University in Türkiye, UCAM University in Spain, Delta State University in the USA, and the University of Waterloo in Canada. This international experience enabled her to guide students from different parts of the world through the admission, visa, and study abroad processes.
Nilay's experiences as an international student, as well as her time living in different countries, allowed her to deeply understand the challenges and excitement students face. This knowledge inspired her to establish her own consulting company, Herons, and to embrace a mission of providing students with reliable, transparent, and powerful guidance.
Today, Herons is a powerful consulting platform that aims to add value to students' lives, support them in finding the educational programs best suited to their goals, and be by their side every step of the way on this journey.
Outside of her professional life, Nilay greatly enjoys diving and fishing in different parts of the world, and growing organic produce in her own garden.
